Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:07AM Honoring Our Veterans
Dear Fellow Hoosiers,
Today is Veteran's Day, one of the most significant days on the calendar. It is a day where we put aside politics and agendas, because on Veteran’s Day, there are no “Democrats and Republicans”, or “Liberals and Conservatives”, there are only Americans.
Today is a day to remember that we rise and fall together. We remember those who have fought, those who have died, and those who continue to fight in order to preserve the God given rights of liberty and freedom.
It is impossible to describe the amount of appreciation and gratitude owed to the millions of courageous Americans who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of Freedom and Democracy. Most of us know or have known many brave, selfless individuals who have defended freedom. Make it a point to honor them and other Veterans today.
Dean and I would like to add our voices to the millions of others today that say, "Thank you" to every Veteran and every extended family member who sacrifice every day to preserve liberty and freedom for all.
God Bless You, God Bless our Veterans and their brave families, & God Bless the United States of America.
Jackie
