Jackie opposed the trillion dollar government takeover of health care. Jackie is the only candidate for Indiana’s 2nd District who has signed the Repeal It! pledge to repeal the health care law and replace it with meaningful reforms that will result in lower costs and higher quality health care.

 

Jackie supports the following health care reforms to lower costs:

• Medical malpractice reform which would reduce the number of frivolous lawsuits and stop doctors from practicing defensive medicine
• Small business insurance pools which would allow small businesses to pool together and have the same buying power as large corporations
• Increased transparency so that consumers can make informed decisions regarding care
• Increased use of electronic medical records and better coordination of care which would reduce duplications and improve efficiencies
