Congresswoman Jackie Walorski’s (IN-02) campaign today released a new ad featuring a local manufacturer and highlighting Jackie’s work to protect Hoosier jobs and strengthen the economy in Indiana’s Second District.
Jackie promised in 2012 to stop the job-killing medical device tax that was included in Obamacare. Jackie kept her promise to protect Hoosier manufacturers, voting repeatedly to end the onerous medical device tax and sending a repeal bill (H.R. 3762) to the president’s desk. In December 2015, a two-year delay of the tax (H.R. 2029) was signed into law.
The new ad was shot at Complexus Medical, a medical device manufacturer in Mishawaka, and includes testimonials from company president Dave Behrens and several employees explaining the damaging effects the medical device tax would have had and thanking Jackie for standing up for their jobs.
“Jackie Walorski made a promise to fight for hardworking Hoosiers, and she kept her promise,” said Emily Daniels, Walorski for Congress campaign manager. “Jackie stood up for 2nd District jobs and fought to stop the job-killing medical device tax, and she’s working to keep our economy growing.”
The ad will air on broadcast and cable television over the next couple weeks.
