We cannot spend our way out of this recession and we cannot leave a burdensome debt for our children. I will fight to keep spending in check, keep budgets balanced, and keep taxes low for small businesses and working families. As a State Representative, I voted to create the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, a public-private partnership that has leveraged billions of private dollars to help bring tens of thousands of jobs to Indiana.

In Congress, I will fight against expensive and unnecessary government mandates on small businesses. I will also fight against job-killing legislation like cap and trade, card check, and work to defund the health care law.
